This Friday morning at the PRRH site, I photographed two eastbound trains......Norfolk Southern 18G-29 @ 1048 hours and Canadian Pacific's 166 @ 1147 hours.
The 18G left Conway Yard, Pittsburgh, PA with eight locomotives yesterday including GP15-1s and a blue SD45-2. By the time she passed through Phillipsburg, NJ, 18G was minus four units. So somewhere between Pittsburgh and Allentown, they were set out. Today's locomotives did not have the GP15-1s or the SD45-2 #1704. Power was NS C40-8W #8428, ex-Conrail #6245, D9 #9780, GP38-2 #5311, ex- Conrail #8128 and SD40-2R #3426, ex-Conrail #6962, nee-Kansas City Southern SD40 #602.
